Provides the skills and underpinning knowledge required to undertake Machine Controller duties including:

• How the attachment is designed to function under normal operating conditions
• What equipment calibration certificates and checks are required to comply with the relevant rules and regulations
• How to avoid the attachment being placed in an unsafe or unstable condition
• How to correctly attach and use the attachment
• How to correctly control the movement of the host machine taking into account:
  • condition of the track

• What information needs to be given to the driver/operator
