At the end of the training the delegate will be able to:
- Describe how the Crane is designed to function under tandem lift conditions
- Describe what equipment calibration certificates and checks are required to comply with the
relevant rules and regulations
- Avoid the Cranes being placed in an unstable condition
- Demonstrate their ability to read a work / Lift plan and communicate its content effectively
- Correctly attach and use the lifting accessories to ensure a safe lif
- Control the movement of the Cranes taking into account:
- Condition of the track
- Cant
- Gradient
- Load height & Radius
- Machine Sectors
- Describe what information needs to be given to the Driver/Operator and how to confirm the Driver/Operator understands the extent of the movement / lift
