Who its for

This is a plant test that is suitable for those who have sufficient knowledge and practical experience to be able to pass the theory and practical element for CPCS Trained Operator Card. Training is available based on ability.

Knowledge & skills you will be assessed on (theory / practical)

Carrying out pre-start and running checks on machine
Set the roller for site travel
Travel over differing types of terrain, including undulating ground
Manoeuvre in confined areas using forward and reverse direction
Set the roller for compaction duties
Compact different materials to requirements
Compact up to supported and unsupported edges, against a radii
Shutdown and secure procedure.
Explain loading and unloading procedures on and off a transporter”

Prerequisites

Proof of passing the Health and Safety Touch Screen Test (passed within the last 2 years)
Photographic ID (CSCS Card, Driving Licence, UK Passport, CPCS Card)
National Insurance number”
