EXCITED ABOUT MC 5? SEWER WE!

Last month saw team DOTTS add to their capability with MC Group 5: Drainage. As the need for drainage maintenance is beginning to grow due to its correlation to landslides, wet beds and flooding issues on the railway, DOTTS are able to offer more scope to clients requiring competency for this activity. The MC 5 competence goes hand in hand with the operator courses (OTP Op 29 and OTP Op 30) that DOTTS can already deliver.

OUR TRAINING IS A CUT ABOVE THE REST

With 20,000 miles of track and millions of trees growing along the railway, managing vegetation is a crucial task for Network Rail. As we move through the summer months, bird nesting season is drawing to a close, making it safer to increase vegetation clearance activities

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR YOU?

If your company specialises in vegetation management, DOTTS is here to support you with comprehensive training and recertification programs. We offer specialised courses including:

  • MC Group 3: Cutterhead & Operator Attachment 16 (Flail)
  • MC Group 6: Chipper & Operator Attachment 31 (Wood Chipper)
  • CC Group 4: Tree Management & Operator Attachment 28 (Tree Cutting Head)

WHAT ARE DOTTS DOING TO SUPPORT THIS CHANGE?

Our extensive experience with RRV’s, SRS and Unimog vehicles, Knuckle Boom Cranes, and Tractors—commonly preferred machines for such tasks—ensures we provide top-notch training and support to meet your needs.
Stay equipped and certified with DOTTS to efficiently manage railway vegetation and ensure the safety and reliability of the rail network.
