What are Skills Bootcamps?

For any of our OTP Skills Bootcamps – all individuals must be sponsored and hold a valid PTS and OTP Core. 

For our CPCS Dozer Operative – all individuals must have an in date Health and Safety touchscreen test for operatives, hold relevant site and Plant experience i.e., 360 or tele-handler in an accreditation (CPCS/NPORS).

The National Skills Fund will fund 70% of the cost of upskilling the existing workforce across a variety of sectors, with contributions of only 30% per learner.
We are able to provide full support and details of the funding arrangements, how it works and what you need to do to apply and get approval.

Dozer Operative

Suitable for Construction Operators who already have a Red Card in 360 but want funding towards obtaining their Dozer ticket

RRV Operator

Suitable for operators who already hold a PTS and the 360 Base Card but want to get their ticket on RRV 360

MC CC OTP Operative

Suitable for rail operatives who have existing experience on the railway, having worked around OTP, and preferably hold the competence of COSS

How to book onto one of our Bootcamps

Step 1
Choose Bootcamp Dates
Select the appropriate dates and send an email to [email protected] with your sentinel number, date and type of bootcamp for us to do initial checks.

Signed Framework Agreement
A signed framework agreement must be received from a Sponsor (Rail) or employer/limited company (Construction) to enrol onto a bootcamp. Without this, you cannot be booked on.

Deposit
Deposit “CONTRIBUTION” invoice will then be sent for payment. Once payment is received, the space on the course is locked in. No payment, no space.

Online C&G Enrolment and Sentinel Enrolment (Rail only)
As part of the bootcamp, each learner is also required to complete the following:

1. Online Induction
2. ⁠Online enrolment form
3. ⁠Training Plan
4. ⁠HSE Test (MC.CC bootcamp only)

This is mandatory to attend/complete.

For all Rail bootcamps, booking forms shall be sent to your sponsor as part of the sentinel enrolment.

Joining instructions will be sent to confirm the induction and start dates of your course.

Any company with fewer than 250 employees and has an annual turnover of less than £50 million.

Any company with 250+ employees and has an annual turnover of more than £50 million.

19+. Learners must be 19+ before 31st August of that funding year.

No. Learners must have a right to work in the UK and must have been living in the UK for at least 3 years.

No. A learner can only complete one Skills Bootcamp per funding year. Each funding year runs from 1st April – 31st March

Learners must live in England, and you should not actively recruit learners who live or work outside of England. If there is a situation where a learner lives in Scotland or Wales, please contact us and we will advise on the next steps.
