Crane controllers are responsible for controlling the lifting operations of a variety of OTP machinery to do tasks such as removing material i.e. soil/dirt/ballast, moving equipment around a worksite, or creating new structures. Machine controllers are responsible for controlling the operations of a variety of OTP machinery to do tasks such as removing material i.e. soil/dirt/ballast, moving equipment around a worksite, or creating new structures. Both Crane Controllers and Machine Controllers typically require good spatial awareness and coordination to assist large scale machinery and good communication skills to work in conjunction with machine operators.
